Our work across the Dundry View Community
Hartcliffe & Withywood Community Partnership have a record of running community development services since 1998. We were involved in setting up and supporting the delivery of the city-wide Neighbourhood Partnerships which ran from 2009-2017, and continue to run a service across the wards of Hartcliffe & Withywood and Bishopsworth.
We deliver the following services to benefit local residents and organisations in the area:
- Management and setup of local forums to help people have greater voice and influence in their community
- Running a series of regular theme-based subgroups including Pride of Place, Transport and Highways and Health
- We encourage local residents to participate in city-wide and local initiatives such as consultations, ensuring that the needs of local people are heard
- We provide support, advice and referrals to individuals, community groups and start-ups via our reception and community partnership
We have also run a quarterly community magazine, wham! which includes a lively mix of information about events, forums, news, and services. We are currently moving toward an electronic publication of this magazine – sign up to our mailing list to receive the next issue!
If you would like to put an article in the magazine, or advertise a service or forthcoming event, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
