WOW! What a fantastic event last Friday, we hosted legendary film director Ken Loach at St Andrew's Church in Hartcliffe for a showing of his masterpiece "I Daniel Blake" - a heartbreaking tale of one man's ordeal with the state after falling ill from a heart attack.

Check out some of our photos from the evening. Massive thanks to Gerldine & Nick Ruskin from St. Andrew's Church, staff from Hawkspring and HWCP for making the event possible, and our hard-working intern Ed Shaw who was instrumental in making it all come together at the last minute.

What a fantastic celebration of the area and a great way to engage local residents in the importance of tackling these injustices in society.
